Meet Sarah

Welcome to my blog! My name is Sarah and I am a natural light photographer in Georgetown, Kentucky. Being a natural light photographer simply means that I only use available light during sessions - no bulky lights or flashes. My focus is children's portraiture; maternity, birth, newborn, high school senior and everything in between!

I use a Canon 7D camera body and several Canon lenses. I'm also a Mac girl and can't live without my MacBook Pro :) Take a look around the blog and if you think my style of photography is what you're looking for, I would love to work with you! SewCute Shop

I have SO many fun new sessions to blog, but I have so many OLD sessions to blog that the list just keeps getting longer and longer! So I’m letting go of my OCD tendencies and posting out of order. Haha!

Last weekend I had a fun session for my cousin Brandy’s business, SewCute Shop. We had 12 models, what seemed like hundreds of fabulous outfits, a gorgeous home and a vintage VW. Brandy did such a great job styling the shoot – everything was so cute!

My favorites are these Auty tops which are available for adults, children and even American Girl dolls! I picked up 2 tops at the session and I can’t wait to wear them!! I love that the little girls’ Auty tops can be worn for so long – they start out as a dress, and as your little one grows just add jeans or leggings underneath.

Here are a few shots of the adorable vintage bug we used for the shoot. I wanted to keep it! Brandy’s son, Tyler, couldn’t resist and had to “drive” for a little while

I loved spending the afternoon with Helena at Henry Clay Estate for her senior portraits. We had an absolutely gorgeous day with perfect weather!

Helena’s sister came along for the session, so of course I had to get her in front of my camera as well

Updated pricing and products

Just wanted to quickly let you know that our updated pricing went into effect on July 1st. If your session took place before July 1st, your order total will reflect our old pricing until July 31st. The 2009 pricing page is password protected – just call or email me if you need access.

We also have a few updates on products, like our accordion albums (which now have custom photo covers!) and digital files. Here are a few examples of things that have gone out in the last few weeks. I love how these turned out!

IAPBP | Birth Photography

Earlier this month, I applied to become a member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers.

I am so excited about this new association! My experience with birth photography has been amazing and I would love to share that with more families. After getting several website hits from their member’s directory, I realized that I don’t have any information about birth photography on my new blog!
