When should I book my session?
It is best for newborn sessions to take place in the first 10 days so we can get those perfect sleepy images. After about 10 days old, babies begin wanting to stretch out and stay awake more.
For the first year, we recommend 4 milestones rather than ages: newborn, holding their head up, sitting on their own/crawling and standing/new walkers. Most families choose to have yearly portraits after that point. One ‘milestone’ you may want to capture is the toothy grin – either right before or after your child looses their first tooth!
For maternity sessions, plan to book your session between weeks 34-36.
How do I book a session?
If after looking through my portfolio you feel that my style of photography is a good fit for your family, simply call or email me to check session availability. There is a $75 session fee due at the time of booking to reserve your session date. This retainer is non-refundable. If for some reason you need to re-schedule your session, please do so at least 24 hours before your session time when possible. Working with children, I understand that things happen! Your session fee can be transferred to any other date within 6 months of the original booked date. No-shows forfeit the retainer.
How do I place an order?
When your proof gallery is ready, you will receive an email with a link and password. Your gallery is for proofing purposes only and will be available online for 2 weeks. When you are ready to place your order, simply call or email me! If you are having trouble narrowing down your selections or would like to see all of our product options we can schedule a complimentary proof consultation.
Can I purchase digital files?
Yes! We would love for you to have all of the images from your session! We offer a disc with full resolution images and printing rights. See our pricing page for more information!
Which forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. Payment plans are available by request with orders over $300. Products will be delivered after payment has been made in full. There is a $40 fee for returned checks.
