Meet Sarah

Welcome to my blog! My name is Sarah and I am a natural light photographer in Georgetown, Kentucky. Being a natural light photographer simply means that I only use available light during sessions - no bulky lights or flashes. My focus is children's portraiture; maternity, birth, newborn, high school senior and everything in between!

I use a Canon 7D camera body and several Canon lenses. I'm also a Mac girl and can't live without my MacBook Pro :) Take a look around the blog and if you think my style of photography is what you're looking for, I would love to work with you! Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog! We’re still working the kinks out, so if you see anything that doesn’t look quite right please let us know!

There are lots of exciting things happening in the next few days and weeks: new posts, new products and a special one day only Birthday sale! Also, our shooting schedule is now officially open. We only have one Saturday session spot left in May, so if you are interested use the contact link above and we can get you on the calendar!

Since I can’t post without a photo, here’s a little peek at what I’m working on tonight. One of the greatest things about the new blog is how much larger the images show up – love it!

Baby Zachary | Newborn

A few days after Zac was born, I got to see him again for his newborn session. He was so tiny! I loved getting to use all of my new blankets and diaper coversHe was so good to us – hardly cried at all and was nice and sleepy!

He even gave us a little smile!

Baby Zachary | Birth

This session was, hands down, my all-time favorite. It was my very first birth experience and I was SO nervous. I’ve been interested in birth photography for a while, but wasn’t sure how to approach someone to be my guinea pig. Here is where family comes in!I talked with my sister in law and she agreed to let me document the birth of her third – and last – baby boy.

I am so glad she did! It was absolutely amazing and I am so happy to finally be offering birth photography to my clients!

Each birth session comes with a DVD slideshow of all images from your session. Below is the slideshow of baby Zac’s birth. Get comfortable, it’s about 15 minutes long. I promise, it’s worth it!

For each birth session we schedule, we block several weeks off on the calendar around your due date. Because of that, we are only able to book a very limited number of birth sessions a year. If you would like more information about birth photography, email me at: info@SarahHollandPhotography.com
